Conference venue


The Royal Tropical Institute (KIT – in Amsterdam aims to contribute to sustainable economic development, health, poverty alleviation, sharing knowledge, cultural preservation and cultural exchange. KIT’s Tropenmuseum (Tropical Museum) and Tropentheatre (Tropical Theatre) showcase far-away countries and their cultures. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has designated KIT a strategic Centre of Expertise. Moreover, KIT also has a special programme on HIV/AIDS to support decision-makers, communities and organizations in effectively reducing the spread and impact of HIV/AIDS. KIT Biomedical Research performs research activities in the field of HIV  to provide important insights and tools in the surveillance and monitoring of HIV.

Consequently, KIT provides the perfect setting for NCHIV.


The conference will take place in the main auditorium. This is a beautifully-decorated auditorium with a theatre layout and seating for approximately 450 participants.
